I work from my beautiful home studio in the central highlands of Victoria, Australia. The diversity of the region inspires much of my ceramic work. The wide all encompassing views of the huge open skies contrast with the dense microcosm of the nearby forests and the areas distinct seasons are all imbued in the making memory of my work.

I find clay an incredibly honest medium because it is so responsive to touch, embodying the makers thoughts, memories and dreams. My intention is that the visual and tactile journey in and around the vessels I make is a mediative experience, connecting us to our own sense of place and memory.

My Springmount studio gallery is located 3km from the small country town of Creswick, (15mins from Ballarat and Daylesford) and an 1hr and 32 mins west of Melbourne. It is open by appointment. I teach individuals and small groups from my Daylesford studio.  You can contact me directly on 0428 726 966 to inquire. Commissions are welcome.
